Sarhad Journal of Agriculture is a peer-reviewed reporting research articles and reviews from all the Divisions of Pakistan relating Agriculture and Natural Resources of the Country. The First Issue of Sarhad Journal of Agriculture was published in 1985,making it one of the oldest continously published university research publications in the country. It is also one of the largest circulation publications of its kind.It is currently published quarterly. The mission of the journal is to provide a platform for intervening layer of the country's agriculture sector with a clear focus on productivity-enchacement in agriculture via exchange of views and up-to-date information,spanning the entire agriculture value chain.All manuscripts submmited for publication in Sarhad Journal of Agriculture. must undergo anonymous peer review before they can be accepted. We forward each submission to appropiate Associate Editor,who makes an initial determination of its scientific soundness and suitability of Sarhad Journal of Agriculture. The Associate Editor then nominates the qualified reviewers. The final decision on the dispsition of the manuscript is made by Associate Editor in consulation with the Chief Editor. As a rule,reviewers aslo require some revision before acceptance.All accepted manuscripts are extensively edited by the journal's staff prior to publication to ensure readability of an audience of lay readers and multidisciplinary academics.
